Description:
Put in on the lake above the dam and run the dam on river right. There’s an obvious line if you get out and scout. Some easy boulder gardens bring you to an obvious bigger rapid with several different line options. Catch the eddy quickly after because Astro Lube is just down stream. This 20’ tall slide is run right of center and has a narrow line but is so much fun when you get it right! After a short pool the boulder gardens will pick up and bring you to Reach Around. The line in the entrance is pretty obvious when your there, start right moving left then do a delayed boof off the small drop at the end. Below this are a few ledges, run center or sneak right. Catch the eddy right before the river makes a tight turn, this is L-Drop. It’s a tricky portage or a tricky line take your choice. There’s a big pool below this one. After the pool is Happy Ending. Run on the left then paddle through some boogie down to the take-out. This run is short, sweet and a bit manky, a real eastern BC classic.
