Level: Correlate off the Salmon River Gauge in Sayward. Normally it is run around 60cms but can be run as high as it gets.
Put-in: Hike down from Memekay 300 W just below the confluence with the north fork Memekay

When I did this run the gauge was reading 180CMS and for the most part it was very continuous big water with one big rapid I would call class V. When the Middle fork joins the Main the rapids get easier and bigger! The beta we were given on this run was that it is normally run at 60CMS and it is then pool drop class III with 2 class IV rapids on it. There’s an amazing free campsite with a shelter on it just down the road from takeout called the Memekay Horse Camp.
